In the winter, Bay Point is less than a fifteen minute drive for the best tree skiing in North America. Big Mountain/Whitefish Summer and Ski Resort offers over 6,000 acres of runs and no lines. Flathead Valley boasts the largest lake west of the Mississippi in Flathead, along nine mile Whitefish Lake. The original developer wanted to showcase the surroundings, especially the 600 feet of shoreline and the native Birch, Larch and Cottonwood trees. Early spring through fall finds the setting sunsets drawing out the guests to enjoy this natural beauty. Spring and fall are peak golf and lake kayaking seasons, as well as guided cycling tours. Winter finds our guests skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and cross country skiing with an inviting indoor pool and hot tubs waiting for them to visit afterward. The excellent location on the lake is still only minutes from downtown Whitefish and many eclectic restaurants and old fashion watering holes.
