For 15 consecutive years, the Portola Hotel & Spa has been recognized by the California Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) for its innovative and proactive initiatives to reduce waste.
Portola Hotel & Spa recycles more than 70 percent of all waste, diverting 150 tons of waste from going to landfills each year.
Portola Hotel & Spa has implemented a green cleaning program that uses H2O3 ionized water to clean and disinfect guest rooms, eliminating the use of harsh chemicals.
Portola Hotel & Spa uses enzyme-based laundry detergents for cleaning linens and towels.
All guest rooms feature Green from Natüra bath amenities which are completely biodegradable, including all packaging.
